DISCLAIMER: No copyright infringment is intended with the content in this journal or its communities. It is simply for entertainment/creative/RP purposes. Characters like the Blue Meanies and Eleanor Rigby and such belong to either Lee Minoff and/or Lennon/McCartney. (But technically Jackson? wtf) We aren't claiming anything so please don't sue.

[1] Multi-fandom/ Original Character friendly/ Alternate-Universe/ Roleplay.
[2] Be civil and don't be an idiot. You get one chance, that's it.
[3] Complaints won't be recognized unless submitted to the PM/Comment Box. It's easier to have them for reference.
B. Hiatus notifications/requests go in the PM as well. From there you will need to update your contact information accordingly.
[4] There's no character limit but missing two activity checks with a character will result in said character to be removed and offered to others. Missing any activity check will result in you having to fully re-apply for the character.

[5] No, you don't have to be a Beatles fanatic in order to play here. I could care less, if you even hate their music; it's a RP open to anyone. If you don't understand the premise or have any questions regarding it/the roleplay please see the mod pm post.
[6] Seperate journals for roleplays? Don't really care, - it's your friends list that gets flooded.
[61/2] Original Characters must have a biography/short history (along with any other facts) posted in the journal for reference. When applying the writing sample must be the bio.
[7] Keep IC and OOC seperate, for the love of Lennon, PLEASE. Just because a character is mean IC doesn't mean the mun automatically hates you.
[8] Activity is this in the least; One full thread or active tagging atleast once a month in "onpennylane" or "pleasemrpostman." Short two sentences in "twistandshout - isn't acceptable.

[9] All characters must have a PB (played-by.) This is a 3-D world, thank you.
[91/2] Original characters cannot be copies of characters already in existence. For example; The Flash vs. a character who can run at super-speed - change it up, make it different, make it unique, make it your character.
[10] Canon-puncturing is a bad move. No having your character go up to someone like Darth Vader and going "Luke! I am your father! Ahaha *gigglesnort*" - or going up to Jude Feeny and telling him he's really a song. If your character is a Star Wars fan? Change it to being a sci fi/space fan. However characters like Spider-Man, Batman, and Superman (depending on points in canon they are from) can be recognized if you think your character would have heard of them or bought their merchandise (IE: they lived in the same cities and the heroes are popular.)
[11] *When you're sixty-four; blame Yoko for everything*
[12] Canon-ism, -ocity? -ness? Whatever. Being canon with your character.. Look if you totally kill the character and are practically beating the muse in the face with every post, you'll be relieved of it and it'll be offered to someone else. This will not be the mods decision alone but voted upon by those that are not part of the RP.

[13] Slash. As long as it's arguably canon. (And by that I mean there are clear signs in canon that you can find in the episode/excerpt/book.) Incest? No. Rape? Better have a good reason for it, and if you don't put a warning up stating it's in the thread you'll get a warning.
[14] Sex. Intercourse. Doing the dirty. Matress mambo. Getting your jollies. Playing doctor. -- Use warnings either in the original post or in the subject line of a tag when the clothes start coming off. Otherwise you get a lovely little warning to ruin the moment. Pregnancies are allowed but no they cannot last a week. Three months real-time at the minimum.
[15] A player is only allowed 2 (two) MAJOR characters from a fandom. Unless the fandom has a ridiculous amount of main characters, like Heroes or X-men. Minor characters will be accepted on a case by case basis.
[151/2] Activity checks and role calls will be done in the OOC community. By applying you are agreeing to have known about this and thus cannot use the excuse "I thought it would be the mod journal, I didn't know to check the out of character."

[16] When posting an actual thread in 'onpennylane' - use an LJ-cut. Which is <*lj-cut text="Witty Text Here"*> after your 'who,what,where,etc' but before your entry. Just take out the stars. Easy, no?
[17] Please try and use spell check on your posts. This is very helpful and IJ comes with a spellcheck, we know that typos sometimes cannot be helped, but try and check them as best as you can before submitting.
[18] To keep posts clean, we ask that you use the zig-zag tag method, so the box doesn't get really tiny and you're forced to scroll a mile to the right. What's meant is, after twenty-five or so tags, start a new thread under the same post by 'posting a new comment.' If you do not understand this, let us know and we will explain it as best we can.
[181/2] Your tags on entries will be added for you, if you have a specific tag that you want for your character then it's suggested you drop a request in the mod PM before making a thread/intro. Other than that, their full name, the most common name/alias they are known by will be applied.

[19] Original character-future children of fandom characters; Yes this is an AU roleplay - but not an AU canon. Currently I'm not allowing it, this may change with time. Please don't take it personally if your application is denied.
[20] PLOT -- whether it's crack or in-depth. There must be logical reason and it must be believable. For example; (Super Mario Brothers) Luigi & Mario opening up a strip club with under-age dancers while smuggling in exotic animals overseas.. or (Heroes) Sylar skipping through Strawberry Fields hand in hand with Peter Petrelli and Claire Bennet. Completely wrong and just, no. Denied. You NEED a reason. Preferably a good one and not 'Because he/she felt like it.' -- In addition, depending on the vote by the players, there will be plots pre-set for random characters throughout the RP.

[21] Privacy. It's a wonderful thing. So you should respect other people's privacy and NOT give out their personal contact information (like instant messenger or personal journal) unless given permission. If they don't have it listed, clearly they don't want it known. If someone contacts you saying they used to be a member and are looking for an old friend/RP partner and ask you to get information from the contact post and you give it to them without the other person knowing, you will be kicked. If someone wants contact info, request in the mod PM.
[22] If your application is neither accepted or declined in seven (7) days; you haven't set up the required information in your journal and will remain pending til the task is done/fixed.
[23] These rules are subject to change/be added to at any point it seems necessary. In the case they are changed, a mod post will be made in notification.
